Nordea-fonden support activities which promote good living. Donations are primarily made for activities that fall within four themes:
We place emphasis on activities of high quality actively involving many people.
Donations are limited to activites in Denmark or activities with clear ties to Denmark.

Nordea-fonden was established in 1989 by Sparekassen SDS when it became a public company.
As a foundation owned business Nordea-fonden is the third largest sharehold in Nordea AB, following the Swedish state and Sampo oyi, the Finnish insurance company.
In 2012 we expect to donate approx. DKK 225 mio. In 2011 donations amounted to approx. DKK 150 mio.
